I can’t say enough good things about this place….a little gem on King West. Cherry & I would always walk by the sandwich board sign on the sidewalk and talk about popping in. We made good on that last week….and liked it so much, we had to come back! I had forgotten my camera the first time so we justified the second trip to get “blog-worthy” pictures. Oh who am I kidding-we actually went back for the cookies.
and that’s just the seating….
check out the walls:
So what to order….let’s have a look at le menu
Yup-it’s your standard cafe….with the addition of some fabulous pastries/sandwiches (we haven’t tried the lunch yet). However, they also have different types of nut milks as an alternative to cow’s milk! So I had an almond milk mocha and Cherry chose an almond milk cappucino. Check out the fabulous latte art:
But let’s not forget the reason we really went back. The cashew nut butter cookie (flour free by the way):
As we sipped and munched, we also contemplated treating several of our co-workers to this treat. Here’s Cherry, contemplating:
Soooooo the verdict is we totally love this place! We have been back twice already and I am sensing a possible third times a charm to finish up the work week! Fantastic drinks, friendly baristas and THE best cookies ever!
Have you ever found a hidden gem of a cafe? What’s your favorite type of drink (hot/cold)?
Oh and on a side note, here’s my new haircut…..
Also sending a shout out to a certain Alicia of funny face beauty! Check out her blog and newly (darkened) hair!

@Alicia….I had to shout out-you got me motivated to get my hair done! Doing some color on Monday!
Love the haircut….i knew it would turn out fabulous. It’s ‘almost’ as good as the cookie….just kidding!! Wow, that was some serious thinking…..
Whoa, I just caught the “3rd time charm to finish the week”!! I could’ve used that today!!! oy
@Cherry we are going to have to plan to make sure you never miss a Latte!
Yumm, those cookies sound amazing! I should try these almond milk lattes out…I’ve never heard of them until now but they also look pretty good
@Veronica the cookies ARE amazing and so are the almond milk lattes. next time you’re in town, let’s make sure we go!!! I know Cherry will want in on that!
ummm HELLLOOO!! I’m in. In fact, I walked by the place hoping for a deserving cup after my spin class. Guess what??? They’re not opened on weekends!!! bummer
@Cherry that’s the one DOWN side to King Street-most places are not open on the weekends. I was doing a bit of research on that place and apparently it turns into a club at night? Didn’t you tell me this also? Apparently it is NOT good as a club and I know I probably won’t even try to find out but I really do love it as a cafe!
Not open on weekends?? That’s a shame…anyway, yes, next time we meet up we should go there!
@Veronica it’s a date then!
Lattes aside, are you doing okay?
Yup, I’ve been doing well, work & training has been keeping me fairly busy. I’m also trying to cook more! I bought a slow cooker recently and I swear it’s the most awesome cooking invention ever. It makes cooking so easy
haha. How are you doing?
@Veronica I was obsessed with my slow cooker when I first got it too! This is a great time to love it though-fall/autumn soups, stews, casseroles are the best! Smart move!
Yes when you come to Toronto, we WILL be going to Atelier.
