So I am SURE you have read a lot of posts about the Annabelle/Marcelle Beauty Premiere event held at the Thompson Hotel in Toronto. I was fortunate enough to be invited to this event (Thank you Miss Isabel P) and it was one of THE events to attend for Toronto’s beauty bloggers!
So let’s check the outfit & hair….the invite said ‘urban chic.’ I think that I ended up with ‘prom queen’ although Alicia may contest that.

Onto the space- I love the Thompson. The hotel itself is modern and sleek. The rooftop was the PERFECT setting for this event. The view was incredible.

The event itself was to introduce several new products from Annabelle/Marcelle. Most of them won’t be on shelves until February/March 2012-but attendees got to take a peek at them! Staff were on hand to demonstrate/explain/answer questions about the products.

And of course they had one of my favorite products out to play with-the smudge paints!
Another wonderful part of this event was the lip gloss bar….you could make your own gloss by picking from primary pigment colors, then lab technicians would mix the color for you and wahhh la!

oh what fun I had! The crowd was great-I saw a lot of ‘old’ friends and met some new ones! The food and drink was delicious and there were even makeup hors d’oeuvres-literally staff with trays of makeup for the taking! WOWEE! I had a good time with that too!

Gosh I could go on and on and ON about this event! I had such a fantastic time and I was so happy to see everyone and make new pals! Big thanks to Miss Isabel P for the invite, the staff on hand for Marcelle & Annabelle, and Thompson hotel staff.
