Dream Bouncy Blush-Maybelline

I bought these strictly based on the fact that I seem to be going through some ‘try new textures of blush’ phase.  Sounds weird but its true. I have tried cream, gel, liquid, and now this ‘bouncy’ blush.  It’s somewhere between a cream/gel and a powder but the packaging is this cute little pillow compact.  If you press down on the blush, your finger will leave an indent!

I have actually read some pretty terrible reviews on this blush but I like it!

I bought two colors-the one I am seeing more of on blogs is the plum version. Originally I was using my fingers to apply it, but I recently saw one of YT/blogger pals Makemeover Ande using a flat top brush and I will sometimes apply that way.  For me and my fair self, this blush is ‘just right.’  It’s not too much, it’s not too little.  It’s a daytime blush for me as it isn’t overly dramatic.

I am pretty impressed that Maybelline dreamt this up-the texture and packaging still intrigue me (as they probably didn’t need the pillow effect, I mean come on it’s blush), but I use it. It’s available in 10 shades.  The price is right too-so if you’re feeling ambitious/experimental, you should give these a try!

What do you think of the dream bouncy blush?  Is the texture just something you can’t get past?  Would you consider this product at all?

You would have to have a heart of stone not to love something called “bouncy blush” – this is only the best name ever! I have been eying these at SDM every week and I know I’m going to give in sooner or later – how could I resist bouncy blush, what am I? an animal?!

I saw this in store and am definitely intrigued by it! Peach Satin looks like a beautiful colour.

@Lauren Peach Satin is a nice color but is rather light (even for me). I actually prefer the plum color! That’s the beauty of these blushes though-you can build the color to your desired intensity!
