up, up and away (?) with Covergirl Plumpify mascara

This is a #BeautyUnited post-my own opinions….

The new Plumpify mascara from Covergirl features a dual-action, lash lifting brush and plumping formula for extreme volume.  Paired with a new smudge-resistant formula with plumping beads that build volume while separating lashes, Plumpify mascara provides 50x the volume+vertical lift. 

Girls, if you watch me on YouTube or have seen my Instagram feed lately, you will know that this mascara just didn’t do it for me.  The brush design prevents all the bristles from being covered (big bummer) and I find that I have to put in 50x the effort just to get results I would deem ‘average.’  Please see below for photos:

I wanted to like this mascara….I really and truly did but I can’t give it a thumbs up.  Originally I had been pairing it with my Dior lash plumping serum and thought I should try it on bare lashes.  So I did, and that wasn’t any better.  I do enjoy Covergirl mascaras but am not pleased with this one.
