It’s now official: Emerald has been named the 2013 colour of the year. Says who? Pantone of course.
It won’t be long before this colour is seen everywhere from garments to gadgets, so here are eBeauty.ca’s picks for all things emerald:
Vasanti Pure Mineral Shimmer Powder in “Emerald City” $14 – A highly pigmented pure mineral powder that can be used anywhere on the face or body, it’s formulated without mineral oil, petrolatum, sulfates, GMO’s, or Triclosan, these high-intensity powders are perfect for adding a touch of shimmering glamour to any look.
EF Studio Eye Pencil Duo $18 – A dual-ended pencil that blend together beautifully to enhance and dramatize all eye colours and shapes.
Rich and silky smooth on the skin, you can quickly and easily use this liner for smudge- and-fade-proof results that last all day. The shade features emerald green and plum purple shades.
Ciaté Paint Pots – Ditch The Heels $14 – This bright green is an ultra-trendy shade for a stand-out manicure. You can flawlessly paint your nails with the 250-bristle flat brush that’s ergonomically designed for perfect control. This polish is paraben, formaldehyde and toluene free and is never tested on animals.
Vincent Longo Pearl X Eyeshadow $27.50 - This eyeshadow has a pearlized formula that delivers a multi-dimensional effect. It combines matte, shimmery, and sparkly elements throughout for a gorgeous, unique makeup look.
blinc Kiss me Mascara – Green $24 – A specially formulated mascara that will not run, smudge, flake or clump. This unique formulation forms tiny water-resistant tubes around your lashes to add both volume and length. It will not run, smudge, flake or clump, yet is still easily removed without the use of makeup remover.

I don’t think it’s any sort of news flash that we ALL want to look our absolute best for the holidays!
Ever since discovering Sorbet Verbena this summer, I have a new-found appreciation for L’OCCITANE en Provence. Not only are their products wonderfully scented, they actually WORK!!! Long gone are my days of constantly re-applying lotion and hand cream-I can apply these once and I’m good until the end of the day!
I love a good deal…..but sometimes I wonder-is it just like the old adage, “too good to be true?”
Honestly ladies, if you are able to take advantage of this, you need to. I really have no idea why you wouldn’t. Mark this date down on your calendars-it’s already in mine!

Another product in my bag of ‘goodies’ from Katie at ebeauty.ca was my h.wood.lips lip shine in ‘poppy.’ Since I had never heard of the brand, a bit of internet stalking was in order.
How excited (and grateful) was I to receive a package from Katie at ebeauty.ca! It looked like this:
Ah Wednesday a.k.a. hump day…..the middle of the week. What could I possibly be looking forward to?
