These palettes have been raved about and raved about! Rightfully so….who couldn’t use a palette full of high quality neutral eye shadows?
The Naked 2 palette contains 12 “never boring” neutrals in matte, shimmer AND glitter textures. This palette can produce many looks from everyday to going out! There is also a full size double ended crease/shadow brush and a miniature lip gloss in the shade Naked.
I don’t know of anyone who wouldn’t love this palette as a gift!
I am no stranger to lip gloss. I have a lot of it. Lip gloss is probably one of my ‘must-haves’ when it comes to daily makeup. I can skip lipstick, eyeshadow, brow pencil and even blush but I must have gloss. I prefer gloss for several reasons but mainly because it’s much easier to apply-especially if you forgot your mirror which I do often. It’s also more sheer and moisturizing. However, there are some down sides to gloss…my main complaint is that it’s sticky. I hate a sticky gloss-even if the color is FANTASTIC and to-die-for…..if it’s sticky, I’ll pass.
There’s a Caryl Baker Visage in the PATH system. I pass by it practically everyday. Once in awhile, I have stopped by to get my eyebrows “done” and purchased an OPI polish or two there. There’s makeup available but I never looked at it for very long-just didn’t see anything that caught my eye.
I had the pleasure of meeting Davida G. just over a year ago at a Toronto Beauty Blogger Event. She is beyond wonderful-especially in personality. When I found out that she was an Arbonne Independent Consultant, District Manager, I thought…really? How can she be a makeup artist and ‘limit’ herself to only Arbonne products?
So I am SURE you have read a lot of posts about the Annabelle/Marcelle Beauty Premiere event held at the Thompson Hotel in Toronto. I was fortunate enough to be invited to this event (Thank you Miss Isabel P) and it was one of THE events to attend for Toronto’s beauty bloggers!
I have never tried Shiseido. To be honest, it seems that it’s an “Asian” brand-and that’s not a problem for me, but I just felt the the skin care was all targeted towards whitening, and having very very pale skin.
