Yesterday was Valentine’s Day and I wasn’t expecting anything since my anniversary is so close (it’s the 12th).
However, much to my suprise these arrived at work yesterday:
My walk home was also a suprise yesterday. I was really jazzed because I had scored a great seat on the northbound subway. The train left the station and as it did I noticed something-a strange smell. Like a burning tires type of strange smell. At the next station the train stopped and the smell intensified-I turned around and saw several personnel running towards the front of the train. I had to make a decision-give up my seat or sit tight.
I got off the train. Glad I did…the platform was filled with smoke. I exited the station which was also filling up with smoke. Yay-a 35 minute walk home. The only good part was that I was able to add those activity points on my Weight Watchers Tracker. I couldn’t understand why so many people did NOT get off the train. Maybe they were jazzed about their seats too?
We had made a commitment to working out last night too and we stuck to it. We were the only ones there (after all it was Valentine’s Day). The entire workout was a kettlebell workout-Greg from Strengthbox must have known how to lure me in, I got to use a pink kettlebell. Smart! Afterwards, the best gift of all:
Here I sit today-very sore. But completely satisfied with my Valentine’s Day!

I decided I am going to work on the exercises we did last night everyday. Not to the point of exhaustion-but just to improve technique.

Awww… I LOVE the kettlebell!!! what an awesome gift! Our Valentines was a lot like yours, we went to the gym and I ran 5k in a record breaking time (for me anyway).
