I was completely sucked in by the ‘candy’ collection-YSL 2012. I watched a video from YT’er PEI makeupartist and loved her finished look! So I indulged-but only in my favorites!
Also picked up a Touche Eclat, the ‘miracle’ of all undereye concealers/highlighters. Been having some good times with that!
And then there is the serum-YSL Forever Youth Liberator. I haven’t opened this yet but am looking forward to it. From the website:
“The star of the Forever Youth Liberator range, the serum contains the highest concentration of GlycanActif™ to stimulate regeneration deep within the skin and to boost youth-promoting functions.”
I love these products-they apply beautifully and color payoff is amazing!
My hang ups:
-Expensive
-Gel blush is a tad sheer (but it’s supposed to be)
-lipstick reminds me of my (younger) life in the ’80s-keep those lips moisturized if you want to wear them!
Check these out if you can-they are pricey but worth a splurge if you feel like spoiling yourself!

Milky Pink is love!!! 🙂 Great picks! So when will we see a look using those? 😉 I am loving the Bright candy colors trend this Spring!
meredith
@Macbella that milky pink is pretty spectacular. As far as the look goes, I am considering a makeup class to get my techniques down before I attempt any ‘on camera’ stuff!!!
Alicia
JEALOUS!! I surprisingly don’t own anything YSL.

@Alicia we need to correct that. They have some lovely items!
Larie
I loved the display at the YSL counter, but I’m not sure I could make any of these work for me. They are so pretty, though!
meredith
@Larie you would be surprised. I thought for sure the yellow and green would be off limits for me too but I am liking them. I use the yellow to pop some of my other shadows I use. Good stuff.

I love Touché Éclat, it’s the secret to my youthful glow and to never looking tired. It’s expensive but really, really worth it.
meredith
@Leesh-I really like it too. I am tempted to carry it with me!
