Glam Glow Tingling Mud Mask

I don’t review many individual items from my monthly Glymm Box.  I have even cooled down on the ‘un-boxing’ videos/posts-mainly because they show up all over YouTube and I don’t think it’s necessary to add another review.  Plus, not everyone gets their box at the same time.

But I had to post about a product I received in my February 2012 box because I truly adore it.  That would be the Glam Glow tingling mud mask.

From the website:

“Designed as a 10-minute anti-aging ‘facial in a Jar’ for behind-the-scenes use in Hollywood’s Entertainment, Music, Fashion & Award industries, for immediate camera-ready glowing skin. GLAMGLOW’s mud base is from Southern France, home to glamorous Cannes, St. Tropez & Monaco. GLAMGLOW is an amazing rapid gentle exfoliant mud mask for men and women, high in ancient volcanic pumice rock, super antioxidants and minerals. GLAMGLOW’s moisturizing collagen synthesis is for the face, neck and décolleté. Use a couple of times a week or simply when you need GLAM-tastic™ skin.”

I applied this as the directions stated-a medium layer to clean skin.  Immediately I felt the tingling and the mask starts to dry almost instantly.  I could feel it tightening-I wasn’t able to move my face after 10 minutes.  After 15 minutes, I rinsed the mud off and my skin felt fantastic, smooth and soft.

What I enjoyed about this product:

-the fragrance is wonderful.  I would wear it as a perfume if the mask wasn’t green!

-it didn’t “burn”-I normally shy away from clay & mud masks because they tend to make my skin feel like it’s on fire.

-I saw and felt results after rinsing.

What I may have trouble with:

-coughing up the $$ to buy a full size jar (because we ALL know it isn’t cheap to be beautiful.  I am sure it will last me and therefore pay for itself but ehhhhrrrr.  *note* there is a discount code in the February Glymm Box-so I went ahead and purchased the full size GlamGlow. So glad I did!

However, a big thumbs up and BRAVO for the GlamGlow tingling mud mask.  If you want smoother, softer skin in 15 minutes, you should defintiely give this a try.

If you’re interested in GlamGlow, check their website for more info.

You may want to think about signing up for Glymm boxes-especially if they are offering products like GlamGlow!

@kathy I have sensitive skin, but its not incredibly dry. I use this once a week on my ‘treatment’ day which is Sunday. I leave it on for 10 minutes, rinse it, then follow up with serum and a face oil-I haven’t noticed irritation or breakouts.
