Foundation combinations…..do you do this or is it just me?

I find that I’m always that “in between” shade. Although I can generally get away without mixing foundations, depending on the season, I almost have to. I use YSL #8 and #9 which give me a rosy tone or a tanned complexion, respectively. Alternatively, I should just go tanning…haha!

@Quynh I know that story! I’m in between a lot too but have found that YSL makes a foundation that I can wear without mixing….I do tend to warm it up with bronzer in the summer though.

I don’t mix foundations any more, but when I was younger I used to use 3 different foundations! I was a bit obsessed lol. I really like the MAC Mineralize Satinfinish. Being able to build up coverage makes such a difference but it still feels really light.

I was watching another video of yours – where you were talking about the crumbling of your foundation. Did you ever figure that out? Is it possible that its reacting with your moisturizer? Dramatically Different is the only one that seems not to do it for me, so I’ve had to change what lotions I’ll use depending on how much foundation I’ll wear that day because it will always crumble with any other moisturizer. I hope you’ve found a solution!!

@Julia- I am liking my YSL Radiance Foundation. That seems to be the one that I can “get away” with!

As far as the crumbling…I am going to attribute that to those 2 products being “enemies” I think they just weren’t meant to get along (I was wearing a primer + foundation).
