It’s no secret that I love being blonde. Being blonde doesn’t come easy OR inexpensive-it requires upkeep and adherence to a pretty tight maintenance schedule. When I don’t take care of my hair, it shows-almost immediately.
I have been dying to try Carol’s daughter Monoi Repairing duo for some time….
Here’s what’s behind this incredible duo:
This intense duo moisturizes, conditions, detangles and promises invincible hair for over-processed, overheated and over-stressed brittle hair. It’s truly the gold standard of hair repair.
PLUS, No Parabens, No Petroleum, No Mineral Oil, No Artificial Colors
I also had no clue what Monoi oil was, so here’s a little bit of information about that:
-Made from the powerful and fragrant Tiare Gardenia and Coprah Coconut
-Found only in Tahiti
-Used for over 2,000 years to heal & protect from the harshest conditions
I actually bothered to read the directions on the products as well:
Monoi Repairing Shampoo (which is sulfate-free so you know it’s safe for color-treated or any other chemically treated hair).
-Wet your hair, start massaging your hair and whip up a good lather for 1 minute or 2 (so the shampoo can do its job)
-Rinse out the shampoo with warm water
Monoi Repairing Conditioner
-work the Monoi Repairing Conditioner into your wet hair
-Detangle hair with your fingers and be sure to cover all your hair with the rich cream
-Leave in your hair for 3 to 5 minutes
-Rinse thoroughly
I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks and my hair feels absolutely amazing (and smells lovely). The texture of my hair seems “better” and I find it easier to style. My hair doesn’t feel heavy/weighed down. But I think the best part is that these products are actually GOOD for the hair!
If you are in need of some serious hair repair, try the Monoi Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner from Carol’s Daughter. You won’t be sorry and your hair will thank you…..again and again!
I buy my Carol’s Daughter from the Shopping Channel! They are having a Summer Beauty event-check it out here!
