I can’t get enough of……In the Buff Spa!

I won’t lie, this post may have a very positive slant….after all, I do know Naomi Mundy fairly well. But that won’t stop me from telling you about the treatment I received in an unbiased manner-just note, that I truly did enjoy the treatment and that should resonate in this post.

Naomi Mundy has been in my life for several years now and this young lady has just propelled herself forward ever since.  She’s a makeup artist, and now an aesthetician, as well as a wife and mother (to an absolutely beautiful little girl).  I’m completely in awe of her dedication and drive, as well as passion for her profession(s).  I had the pleasure of attending her ‘discovery night’ where she introduced myself and others to ilike skincare.

Then she sent me home with this….

Ilike hails from Hungary-it was made in small batches from organically grown and handpicked herb, fruits and vegetables, and contains the highest possible levels of natural active ingredients.  The thought process behind ilike is “Nature provides an abundance of solutions for our everyday needs.”  The entire line is made with certified organic ingredients.  The line addresses a variety of skin types, conditions and needs from sun damage to rosacea to wrinkles.

So it only seemed “right” to book some treatment time at In the Buff-I chose a lightening treatment.  If you’ve read this blog before, you will know that a major concern of mine is hyperpigmentation (my punishment for being a tanning bed freak in the early part of the 2000’s).

The treatment contains items you’d “expect”: cleansing, toning, moisturizing, extractions….the unique part of this experience is the paprika…yes paprika.   Can you say burn baby burn?  You will definitely feel this one working….it reminds me of my other favorite, PCA peels.  Naomi applied this and left it on for about 15 minutes, and then followed up with a cooling mask.  Let’s just say I left “fresh-faced”-skin felt and looked great. I counted the “Something looks different about you, what did you have done” comments at work and it stands at 6-not too shabby!

Honestly, if you are in the vicinity of Toronto, you SHOULD be booking a treatment at in the buff….I predict that ilike will be getting more and more press as it makes its way into the city….why not be one of the first to try it out?
