LiveClean sunscreens-for the first day of summer!

*I received these products for review-opinions and thoughts are mine all mine.

I am so.over.dreary.weather. Who’s with me?

While my favorite season is officially fall, I am in need of some sunshine.  All the vitamin D supplementation in the world just cannot compare.  I’m hoping to use this sunscreen when spring finally decides to roll around….and at this point I think Mother Nature will skip it and full steam ahead to summer.  Which at this point, is fine with me.  Today was sunny, which made me smile.  I’m hoping this is the new trend because after all, it actually IS the first day of summer.   While I do embrace my pale, when I’m outdoors or away on a ‘cottage weekend’, I apply sun protection.  Liberally.

Both of these products:

  • 98% naturally derived ingredients
  • Petrolatum free/Paraben free/Phthalate free
  • SLS free/Silicone free/Phosphate free/Phthalate free
  • Contains biodegradable ingredients
  • Vegetarian formulas
  • Gluten free
  • Never tested on animals
  • Dermatologist tested/Hypoallergenic
  • Package recyclable

Live Clean Face Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 45

This sunscreen is developed for the face-is lightweight to apply & non whitening, UVA/UVB protection with SPF 45.  This formulation is non-nano, with no particles small enough that they can be absorbed into the bloodstream.  Since it’s a mineral sunscreen, the 2 natural sun protection ingredients are Zinc Oxide & Titanium Dioxide.

And for people like me, who will burn themselves, there is:

Live Clean After Sun 98% Aloe Vera Gel

The soothing, cooling powers of certified organic Aloe Vera and a special blend of certified organic botanicals of Australian Tea Tree Oil and Arnica Extract to help relieve discomfort.

I’m actually cheering that it was a ‘dry’ day today and hoping that there are more real ‘summery, lazy’ days where I can lounge, float, sip, and savour!  I’m hoping that it’s a sunburn-free summer of course, but good to know that liveclean has got my back if I go overboard.
