Longer, stronger, better. Hair. With Priorin

Will Priorin help your hair grow?

Raise your hand if you’ve taken Biotin before-and NOT been impressed.  Honestly, I wasn’t pleased with Biotin and the other Hair, Skin, Nails vitamins on the drugstore shelves today.  I didn’t see results-even after taking them for several months and I did notice that Biotin caused me to break out.  It’s always been a struggle for me to grow my hair past my shoulders.  After I turned 40, I noticed my hair growth was even slower.  I have had hair extensions before-and while they did solve my length ‘situation’, my hair wasn’t better (or worse) afterwards.  So now, Priorin.  When I got this, I wondered if it would be any different.  Would I notice any sort of change-or would I be using this and then using my spot acne treatments.

I’ve actually been taking Priorin for about 2 months now and am more than impressed.  I was on the hunt for it and had to go to several different stores before finding it.  When I did find it, there were only 2 packages left.  I was surprised to see ‘millet’ as an ingredient-that’s what I used to give my parakeet as a treat. Now I’m ingesting it for healthy hair?  Hmmm.  The other 3 ingredients in this product weren’t a surprise to me-Biotin, L-Cystine, and Calcium Pantothenate-please keep reading if you want to know about these.

From Priorin.ca

PRIORIN® improves hair growth from within

It supplies the hair with nutrients, including millet extract, the amino acid L-cystine and calcium pantothenate, which in combination has been clinically shown to stimulate and improve hair growth and hair re-growth. PRIORIN® also contains the nutrient biotin, which helps to maintain healthy hair.

PRIORIN® helps to improve hair growth by supplying the hair with nutrients, including:

Millet Extract

PRIORIN® capsules contain millet extract, a source of the phytosterol miliacin, which increases proliferation and metabolic activity in human keratinocytes (key cells in hair).

Calcium Pantothenate

The essential vitamin calcium pantothenate stimulates metabolic activity in human keratinocytes (key cells in hair) and is thus important in the nutritional support of normal hair growth and quality.

L-cystine

The amino acid L-cystine is a building block of the hair substance keratin and thus an important component of the hair.

Biotin

Biotin is a vitamin that is vital for the synthesis of the hair substance keratin.

How to take Priorin:

Hair growth progresses very slowly and requires a little patience. Therefore it is recommended that you take 2 PRIORIN®capsules daily with food for a period of 3 to 6 months.

After 3 to 6 months of the PRIORIN® hair care program the nutrients will have stimulated and improved hair growth and hair re-growth.

PRIORIN® is also suitable for long-term use and can be repeated throughout the year if necessary.

My results with Priorin:

I have experienced a slight change in length after taking Priorin.  Where I noticed the REAL change was in the integrity of my hair.  My hair is stronger, shinier, overall feels so much healthier.  It holds a curl better and responds better to my hair treatments.  I have noticed the most hair growth along my hairline, especially at my forehead.  Best of all? No breakouts-I can say with confidence that my skin has actually improved since taking this (don’t believe me? Check out these Amazon reviews). Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised with the positive changes and have purchased more of this supplement.  I’d like to see what the results could be after taking Priorin for 6 months.

My only ‘problem’ with Priorin is that it was hard to find in my area (I’m in the GTA-for those of you outside Canada that’s Greater Toronto Area).   So I will resort to buying this online for now.

Pro-tip:  If you visit the website, there’s a $5 coupon you can download and print out to use in stores.  It’s worth it.
