#influenster Kat Von D Studded Creme Lipstick

Influenster was kind enough to send me the Kat Von D Studded Creme Lipstick in Lolita to review.  A few months back, they also sent me the lip liner (in Lolita as well) and I really enjoyed the liner.  While I appreciate everything that I receive to review, I absolutely hated this Lipstick.  Before I get to the reason(s) why, I’ll post the brand’s description.

Thoughts:

I am pleased to see so many shades and also am interested in the ‘White Out” mixer.  But honestly?  This is probably one of the most uncomfortable lipstick formulas I have ever worn.  I’m even going to make the claim that this is worse than a liquid lipstick (and we all know how drying those are).  Upon first application, I had to drag and press the lipstick into my lips-there was no gliding. It’s patchy and even after going over and over, I still didn’t get an even coverage.

The shade Lolita is SO not for me.  It washes me out -I’m super fair and it just does not work for me.  I can make the liner work because it’s liner but not this shade.

Overall this lipstick is a definite ‘NO’ for me.  I’m interested to hear your thoughts on this-am I missing out on some kind of hack for application?
