Switching up my complexion products-for spring?

Honestly.  I’m sitting here typing out a post as an ice storm continues to plow down across Ontario.  In April.  The weather report? Not much better to be honest-rain, rain, rain.  Don’t get me wrong, I know the phrase “April Showers bring May flowers” but this has just gone on and on.  I’m over it.  I want to wear shoes instead of boots, and a lighter coat.  I say all this knowing that in May I’ll be saying that it’s too warm.

My skin doesn’t seem to notice the weather…..this is the point in time when my skin starts objecting to the products I’ve been putting on it (the heavier moisturizers, full coverage foundations) in favor of lighter moisturizers and less coverage makeup.  I have started making a switch but haven’t completely changed out all of my products.

Here are the recent switches I’ve made in terms of spring products:

Sweet Pea Soap Company Skin Repair Serum

The new all natural Skin Repair Serum mist is developed with a variety of premium ingredients to provide top quality skin care that heals damaged skin without any harsh chemicals. Hormones within aloe vera gel are anti-inflammatory to help treat sunburn and other skin ailments, helping them heal more quickly. This gel also fights aging and helps to heal stretch marks, making it one of the most beneficial ingredients within the mist.
Ingredients such as green tea extract, vitamin E and coconut oil are rich in antioxidants that protect skin and slow down aging. Witch hazel, tea tree oil, cucumber peel extract, chamomile german, lavender essential oil and honey suckle flower extract have powerful anti-inflammatory qualities that can help treat spots and blemishes, eczema, rashes, burns and small wounds. Tea tree oil and honey suckle flower extract are also antiseptics, protecting against infection and fighting bacteria, fungi and viruses while helping heal damaged skin.
The serum also moisturizes damaged skin with cucumber seed carrier oil and coconut oil to keep skin soft and moisturized.

Urban Decay Environmental Protection Spray

UD All Nighter Pollution Protection Environmental Defense Spray

All Nighter Pollution Protection contains a blend of minerals, including zinc, magnesium and copper, that protect against free radicals. These sprays have patented, time-release Temperature Control Technology that actually lowers the temperature of  makeup to help it last longer.

Make makeup last up to 16 hours AND help protect against oxidation due to pollution. All Nighter Pollution Protection mists on weightlessly to keep makeup looking just-applied, without melting, fading or settling into fine lines. The light-as-air formula acts like a protective barrier throughout the day—to guard skin against whatever the day throws at it.

So there you have it.  My complexion products so far….what are your favorites?
